Uganda Artisans

Kellen Nayiwumbe is 32 years old. She is a mother of 4 children.

Kellen left her Parents’ home and came to Kampala to look for a job as a "house help" seven years ago. She served diligently and before she knew it, her employer had identified other skills in her and introduced her to the business of making Paper Beads.

She is a very fast learner and is very creative. She mainly does the multi colored beads. She left her employment and started working on her own.

Kellen is very grateful that she can sell some of her beads locally to tourists and some abroad to the USA. Kellen hopes that people will continue to enjoy her new innovations in order for her to be assured of a sustainable business.
